Reed's brings you this treasured treat from Indonesia made naturally from a popular recipe generations old. Contains real ginger root; an attractively wrapped candy that makes your mouth crave its refreshing bite! Another delicious ginger treat from the makers of Reed's Ginger Brews. Contains Real Ginger Root; made NATURALLY in Indonesia. Attractive, individually wrapped candy rolls wrapped with recyclable PAPER and protective inner wax paper
The process is an ancient one that hasn’t changed much through time. After harvesting baby ginger (the most tender kind), the root is diced and then steeped in large vats filled with simmering raw cane syrup. Steeping for several days, the ginger is then removed and allowed to crystallize into soft, delicious nuggets. Nothing else added. Reed’s Crystallized Ginger is the only one they’ve found that is sweetened with raw cane instead of white sugar. They are happy to offer these treats that islanders have long enjoyed for their health and pleasure.
