The bioactive, synergistic ingredients in Novahue Skin* were chosen for their ability to support healthy cell turnover, allowing the dermis to actively and effectively defend itself against sun damage.1Research on the combination of lycopene, phytoene, and phytofluene has shown that these carotenoids exhibit protective action across a broader range of UV light, including UV-A and UV-B wavelengths. In a simulated solar UV light study, this particular combination was found to be more effective at lowering oxidative stress and protecting against photo-damage than lycopene alone2. When combined with these phytonutrients, Carnosic acid works to support protective intracellular mechanisms, and provides antioxidant enzyme activity. It also aids in the reduction of ROS and protects against UV light3.

During a 12 week study measuring the density, thickness and smoothness of skin, statistically significant improvements were found in subjects who received the skin grade tomato extract as opposed to placebo.*4
