Traditional Uses : Indian Gooseberry (Amlaki) is a mainstay in most Indian households. Since ancient times, it has been touted as one of the most potent and important herbal medicine to retard aging. It is commonly used in the treatment of burning sensations any where in the body. Even possessing the ability to treat anorexia conditions, constipation, urinary discharges, inflammatory bowels, cough, fever, thirst, hemorrhoids and blood toxicity conditions.

Dyspepsia, Peptic Ulcers, Acidity, Fever, Constipation, Liver Disorders, Hypercholesterolemia, Inflammation of Stomach & Intestine, Cleanses Mouth, Strengthens Teeth and Prevent Bleeding gums, General Debility, Worms, Painful Urination.

Clinical Research: Amlaki is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C, containing up to 720mg/100mg of fresh pulp and 921mg of pressed juice which has approximately 20times the vitamin C content of an orange. It has been used very effectively for the treatment of peptic ulcers and also very successful in the treatment of scurvy.
